Fantasy in the Sky

"Fantasy in the Sky" is that annual Fourth of July celebration sponsored by the City of Skiatook and area businesses. The celebration starts with a community wide parade and continues throughout the day with great food, vendors and live music. The night concludes with a world class fireworks show that brings more than 75,000 people to Skiatook. The celebration is always held on the 3rd of July.

TallGrass Festival

The Skiatook Bluegrass festival is an annual event promoted by the Skiatook Bluegrass Association.  This event has grown every year and look forward to continuing the tradition.  The festival is held at the Skiatook Festival Grounds, located behind the Skiatook Sports Complex, and the grounds have been greatly improved over the years. There is a beautiful stage, shaded seating, great food, arts/crafts vendors, children’s activities, RV water and electric hookups, tent camping, great jam sessions, and friendly folks.

Pioneer Day

Founded in 1872 and established as a trading post, Skiatook prides itself on its Pioneer Days Festival held annually in September. The Pioneer Days celebration is kicked off with a 5K run and fitness walk along the Osage Prairie Trail. A long celebrated tradition, Pioneer Days hosts carnival rides, live music, food tents, vendors, horse shoe tournaments, a car show, parade, fly-in, chili challenge, tractor pull, rodeo, and fireworks display.

Chamber Luncheons

Attend a Chamber Luncheon every 2nd Wednesday of the month to find out more about local businesses, events, and meet some friendly faces! The cost is 5 dollars per person.

Flags of Honor

Flags of Honor is a special venture presented by Skiatook Chamber of Commerce for locals and non-locals to fly a flag in the Osage Cemetery to honor a deceased soldier.

Family members will be able to purchase flags to honor veterans who are buried elsewhere. This will give Skiatook residents whose parents or other relatives may be buried far away an opportunity to more frequently pay their respects. They can come to Skiatook Osage Garden Cemetery and honor their loved one.
